This is the PCISCC-4 card connected via flat cable to an old-version BayCom DF9IC-type modem. As you can see, the connector on the modem is soldered to the board from the soldering side. This is a possible way to connect it. You have to mount either the connetor on the modem or on the PCISCC-4 board from the soldering side, otherwise your PC will blow up on powering it on!!! Since DF9IC modems generate their own TX and RX clock the crystal on the SCC board is optional in this configuration.
